Description

You will design, build, and maintain security architectures and solutions across network, endpoint, web, data, and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer security infrastructure including SIEM, log management, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Respond to and document threats and risks to information systems and networks.
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to integrate security practices into new systems and applications.
• Participate in IT governance and change management to ensure alignment with security policies.
• Provide technical support for disaster recovery and cyber resilience testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering roles.
• Expertise in network security including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection.
• Experience with secure software development, cryptography, key management, and IAM.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Scripting experience using Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, SMTP, SIP, IPv4, IPv6, and other core protocols.
• Familiarity with defense-in-depth and zero-trust architectures.
• Knowledge of system, network, and OS hardening techniques.
• Understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, SOC II, NIST 800-53, and CIS security controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SentinelOne, Tanium, Google Chronicle, Cloudflare, Atomicorp, Tenable.io, Recorded Future, or Microsoft Defender.
• Familiarity with OpenStack, DevOps, and API integration frameworks.
