Security Engineer Professional

You will manage and administer secure perimeters and network security infrastructure remotely. You will own the implementation and administration of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, including security profiles and zone creation. You will support CyberArk and other security appliances, troubleshoot networking issues, and maintain encryption support. You will solve complex technical problems under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks independently and providing documented status updates to management and the team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, including security profiles and zone creation.
• Manage and support CyberArk and other security appliance devices.
• Troubleshoot networking issues and maintain encryption support.
• Solve complex technical problems under tight deadlines while prioritizing tasks independently.
• Provide documented status updates to management and the team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in security or IT roles.
• 4+ years of experience implementing and administering firewalls and secure perimeters.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Working knowledge of CyberArk.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting encryption or security appliance devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux systems proficiency.
