Description

You will identify vulnerabilities in source code and hardware designs to secure embedded systems. You will explain issues to developers, suggest mitigations, and validate fixes through security and code reviews. You will create checkers to detect new vulnerabilities and reduce false positives. You will assist with vulnerability analysis, incident response, and threat modeling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in source code and hardware designs for embedded systems.

• Assist with vulnerability analysis, incident response, and threat modeling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with static analysis tooling such as Fortify or Coverity.
• Experience with low-level firmware, embedded operating systems, Android, and hardware design.
• Knowledge of Linux systems security and network security.
• Experience with authentication, security protocols, and cryptography.
• Practical application of threat modeling and risk identification techniques.

• Graduate degree.
