Description

You will lead the design and implementation of security protocols for API traffic and cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with API teams to design and document secure API design patterns.
• Implement API security using Cloudflare and perform decryption of API traffic for security inspection.
• Assess and secure APIs in alignment with OWASP standards.
• Apply industry frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and CIS CSC to security workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in IT Security.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare for API security implementation.
• Deep understanding of cryptography, including hashing, signing, and symmetric/asymmetric encryption.
• Experience with API traffic decryption, specifically mTLS and TLS 1.3.
• Experience with API management platforms such as MuleSoft or Apigee.
• Working knowledge of networking, including routing, DNS, common ports, protocols, and firewalls.
• Understanding of Secure LDAP, load balancing, and Federated Identity.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree level education.
