Description

You will manage application security scanning workflows and support developers in remediating identified vulnerabilities.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Onboard applications into Veracode by configuring scans, teams, and API accounts based on ServiceNow requirements.
• Troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipeline failures and security scan integration issues using command-line interface logs.
• Evaluate remediation plans and compensating controls to determine if they effectively mitigate security risks.
• Act as a consultant to developers, helping them understand vulnerabilities and guiding them through the remediation process.
• Manage security-related requests within ServiceNow, ensuring all application and team data is accurately configured.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
• Proficiency with Veracode for application onboarding and scan configuration.
• Working knowledge of GitLab Ultimate and GitLab CI/CD pipeline security integrations.
• Experience managing security requests and workflows within ServiceNow.
• Ability to analyze GitLab pipeline jobs and CLI logs to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Strong ability to assess technical remediation plans against security policies.
• Any Graduate degree.
