Description

You will design, implement, and test security for microservice-based cloud applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security best practices for Java-based microservices and distributed systems.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for APIs and integration points.
• Perform code reviews and static/dynamic analysis to identify vulnerabilities in Java applications.
• Guide developers on secure coding practices and remediation strategies.
• Ensure alignment with security standards such as FIPS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of professional development experience with a deep understanding of security principles.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, IBM Cloud, OpenStack, or Cloud Foundry.
• Experience implementing and supporting Sovereign Cloud deployments and operations.
• Familiarity with security standards including FIPS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Ability to support audits and penetration tests.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
