Description

Manage daily security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management to protect organizational infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security reports and network traffic via dashboards to register, resolve, and advise on incoming issues.
• Manage vulnerability remediation and identify quick-win solutions for outstanding security issues.
• Develop, document, and maintain Security Operations Center (SOC) processes for efficient event follow-up.
• Handle phishing alert notifications and propose process improvements, such as using Phished.io.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve reported alerts, contribute to security projects, and participate in ICT security audits.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant IT-related discipline.
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks including ISO27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Experience handling security tickets related to phishing, identity, malware, and antivirus.
• Ability to document technical processes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and the other national language.
• Capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
• Physical presence in Brussels at least 2 days a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the public sector or Social Security Institutions.
