Description

You will architect and lead observability engineering, defining telemetry patterns and owning the platform strategy for logs, metrics, and traces across distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, resilient observability pipelines and define telemetry lifecycle governance including retention and quality assurance.
• Embed observability configuration, alerting, and pipeline validations into CI/CD workflows using configuration-as-code patterns.
• Lead service onboarding by defining standard dashboards, query patterns, and reliability indicators (SLIs/SLOs).
• Provide technical leadership for instrumentation best practices and drive adoption across engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, observability, or reliability engineering.
• Strong expertise in Observability platform architecture, including distributed tracing and high-volume telemetry pipelines.
• Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD automation and observability pipeline integration.
• Experience with Docker for containerized observability components.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD workflows, including quality gates and secure delivery.
• Ability to architect resilient systems for multi-environment platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Splunk for log analytics and operational visibility.
• Proficiency with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and observability insights.
