Description

You will manage detection, monitoring, and resolution of security incidents during the night shift as a Tier 3 SOC Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Monitor logs and security events across computer systems, network devices, applications, and databases.
• Lead incident response calls and manage high or critical severity alerts throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Guide lower-tier analysts and serve as a subject matter expert for the SOC team.
• Develop custom alarms based on internal threats and findings from threat hunting activities.
• Generate technical reports detailing security issues and suggested system enhancements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, or SOAR tools in an enterprise environment.
• Deep knowledge of network and security technologies, including protocols, design concepts, and access control.
• Proficiency in encryption, data protection, and privileged access management.
• Experience leading incident response and managing the response lifecycle within defined timelines.
• Ability to design and lead automation to reduce workloads related to monitoring and reporting.
• Strong technical and non-technical verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Industry recognized certifications such as CompTIA SEC+, CompTIA CySA+, or ISACA CISA.
• Master's degree in a related Information Technology field.
