Description

You will serve as a Tier 3 SOC Analyst on the night shift, managing and resolving high-severity security incidents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and initiate incident responses for high or critical severity security alerts.
• Guide lower-tier analysts through the security incident handling lifecycle.
• Monitor logs and security events across computer systems, network devices, applications, and databases.
• Create customized alarms based on internal threats and findings from threat hunting.
• Generate reports detailing security troubles and suggested system enhancements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, or SOAR tools in an enterprise environment.
• Experience leading incident response calls.
• Knowledge of network and security technologies, including protocols, design concepts, and access control.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as encryption, data protection, and privileged access.
• Experience designing or leading automation to reduce security monitoring and reporting workloads.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• CompTIA SEC+, CompTIA CySA+, or ISACA CISA certifications.
