Description

Build and enhance security platforms, dashboards, and automation tools using New Relic APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance security dashboards and custom applications using New Relic APIs.
• Convert raw logs into meaningful metrics and insights for security monitoring.
• Analyze data to support allow/block traffic decisions.
• Develop event-driven security automation to respond to threats in real time.
• Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve monitoring and defenses.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with New Relic dashboards, APIs, and/or custom applications.
• Familiarity with security analysis, log pipelines, and event-driven development.
• Experience with DevOps principles.
• Familiarity with IGS/IPS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Exposure to container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
