Description

You will design and implement API runtime defense solutions, managing the full API lifecycle from architecture to discovery. You will integrate security initiatives into development workflows and represent Information Security at enterprise reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support API runtime defense using Akamai, Neosec, and Noname.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, including architecture, design, testing, and discovery.
• Integrate security-focused API initiatives into development workflows and support IT teams.
• Provide technical insight for complex security solutions and document delivered code and support procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of interdisciplinary experience in at least four areas: Access Control Systems, Application Security, Application SDLC, Operating Systems, Cryptographic Controls, API Security, API Scanning, or Networking.
• Extensive experience designing and developing serverless solutions within AWS.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway and AWS API Gateway.
• Proven track record in API development and API runtime defense engineering.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues and design technical solutions.
• Experience working within agile environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• API Management experience.
