Description

You will manage and enforce system security controls across mainframe environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update ACF2 rules based on agency security officer authorization.
• Manage access to sequential datasets, DB2, IMS databases, LDAP, and system services like JES2.
• Modify and maintain user groups, handling additions and removals.
• Test security product upgrades and document procedures for usage.
• Perform certificate installation, password resets, and access violation reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a relevant technical field or a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience using ACF2 to create security profiles, establish user-IDs, and reset passwords.
• Experience with Top Secret or RACF.
• In-depth understanding of information security policies and regulatory compliance.
• Experience responding to audit and investigative requests securely.
• Knowledge of z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, IOF, JCL, IOCPIHCD.
• Familiarity with COBOL, REXX, JCL, PROCS, and CTLCARDS.
• Experience with IMS and DB2.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools such as TMON or Mainview.
• Familiarity with file transfer protocols such as FTPS and Connect: Direct.
