Description

Perform automated and manual security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve application security posture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute automated vulnerability scanning using Traceable, Burp Suite, and Tenable Web Application Scanner to establish application health baselines.
• Conduct manual ethical hacking using open source tools, custom utilities, and scripts to target specific risk areas.
• Produce detailed reports describing identified vulnerabilities, their criticality, and associated risks.
• Perform retests on remediated vulnerabilities according to established SLAs.
• Develop new scripts and utilities to address recently discovered vulnerabilities and update testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application security or penetration testing.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite and Tenable Web Application Scanner.
• Experience with Traceable for automated vulnerability scanning.
• Ability to write custom scripts and utilities for security testing.
• Deep understanding of vulnerability identification and exploit techniques.
• Experience managing and reporting on vulnerability criticality and risk levels.
• Strong knowledge of testing program execution and application security principles.

Preferred Skills

• Collaboration with Application Security and development teams to improve penetration testing effectiveness.
