Description

You provide Level 1 support for Web Application Firewall infrastructure and security monitoring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts from Web Application Firewalls and security systems to identify and triage potential incidents.
• Respond to Level 1 security incidents using predefined procedures and escalate to higher-level support when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents, actions taken, and resolutions.
• Assist in developing reports and dashboards to monitor WAF performance and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT support teams to coordinate incident responses.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Foundational knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts.
• Practical understanding of Vulnerability Management.
• Familiarity with Ethical Hacking principles.
• Ability to assess security situations quickly and initiate appropriate actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security monitoring dashboards and reporting tools.
