Description

Design and maintain data pipelines and graphs using Ab Initio to support data integration and warehousing needs.

You will own the release pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Ab Initio data graphs and pipelines to extract data from databases, flat files, and message queues.
• Transform data to create consumable layers for various application uses.
• Support existing data pipelines through bug fixes and functional enhancements.
• Document technical designs and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience in Data Integration or Data Warehouse environments.
• 3+ years of ETL design and development experience using Ab Initio.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write high-performing queries.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting experience for deploying and running Ab Initio jobs.
• 1+ year of Data Integration experience on the Hadoop platform, preferably using Cloudera.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Ab Initio CDC (Change Data Capture) or Continuous Flows.
• Prior experience supporting the Cloudera data platform.
• Previous experience working in the healthcare industry.
