Ensure digital products and websites are fully accessible by providing technical expertise to product owners, designers, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop accessible code patterns and provide component implementation guidance for developers.
• Consult on integrating accessibility automation into existing processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interpret accessibility audits to drive technical improvements and methodology changes across teams and external vendors.
• Co-lead annual accessibility training sessions for developers, designers, and testing teams.
• Research emerging technologies to recommend solutions that align with business goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in accessibility or related technical disciplines.
• Expert knowledge of HTML, ARIA, and WCAG 2.0 (A & AA) standards.
• Intermediate knowledge of CSS and JavaScript.
• Advanced knowledge of assistive technologies including screen readers, magnifiers, and alternative input methods.
• Expert understanding of accessibility barriers and how people with disabilities experience digital content.
• Advanced knowledge of Git and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of mobile and document accessibility.
• Familiarity with SAFe and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with multi-platform and cross-browser testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in internet or mobile usability/accessibility research and prior accessibility consulting.
• Knowledge of Selenium, AxeCore, and Java.
• IAAP WAS, CPWA, ADS, CPACC, or DHS Trusted Tester v5 certifications.
