You will design and develop accessible AI-powered applications using Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI/ML services, ensuring strict compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python-based microservices and APIs to support AI/ML workflows.
- Integrate Large Language Models via Bedrock into user-facing applications with an accessibility-first design approach.
- Conduct accessibility audits, testing, and remediation across web applications to ensure compliance.
- Implement and maintain automated accessibility testing pipelines within the CI/CD process.
- Collaborate with UX/UI, product, and DevSecOps teams to embed accessibility into the development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering or accessibility engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS native services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and IAM.
- Proficiency in Amazon Bedrock, including prompt engineering and model integration.
- Strong Python development skills for building scalable microservices.
- Deep knowledge of Section 508 compliance and WCAG standards.
- Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe and Wave.
