Description

You will manage general accounting functions, including reconciliations, lease accounting, and month-end closing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage prepaid and accrual reconciliations to identify and clear open balance mismatches.
• Perform and review commission reconciliations after month-end closing to ensure accuracy.
• Review and post correction and reclassification entries identified during balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review all monthly closure commission accounting entries.
• Liaise with controllers and other departments to resolve day-to-day accounting issues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting background.
• B.Com, MBA Finance, CA, or CA-Inter.
• Experience in Lease Accounting.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and principles.
• Experience with prepaid/accrual reconciliation processes and clearing reconciling items.
• Experience with month-end accounting and reporting activities.
• Knowledge of internal control and SOX compliance/audit.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in IFRS or US GAAP.
• Working knowledge of One-Stream or NetSuite.
