Description

Design, deploy, and manage Active Directory infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments to ensure system reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and user authentication protocols.
• Deploy and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, focusing on provisioning, application delivery, and user profile management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues within Active Directory and Citrix components to minimize user impact.
• Implement security measures, access controls, and authentication protocols to protect infrastructure and data integrity.
• Monitor system health and performance, conducting capacity planning and tuning to optimize Citrix resources.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Active Directory and Citrix Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, installation, and configuration.
• Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including XenApp/XenDesktop, StoreFront, and NetScaler/ADC.
• Proven experience managing Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, SSL offloading, and secure remote access.
• Hands-on experience with Windows File Sharing, NTFS permissions, and DFS Namespace.
• Proficiency with SMTP e-mail relay servers, Microsoft IIS-SMTP, Microsoft Office 365, or Microsoft Exchange.
• Knowledge of Azure File Shares and Azure File Sync technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and RDS Licensing.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or higher.
