Design, deploy, and manage Active Directory infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments to ensure system reliability and security.
Responsibilities
Design and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and user authentication protocols.
Deploy and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, focusing on provisioning, application delivery, and user profile management.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues within Active Directory and Citrix components to minimize user impact.
Implement security measures, access controls, and authentication protocols to protect infrastructure and data integrity.
Monitor system health and performance, conducting capacity planning and tuning to optimize Citrix resources.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience as an Active Directory and Citrix Engineer.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, installation, and configuration.
Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including XenApp/XenDesktop, StoreFront, and NetScaler/ADC.
Proven experience managing Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, SSL offloading, and secure remote access.
Hands-on experience with Windows File Sharing, NTFS permissions, and DFS Namespace.
Proficiency with SMTP e-mail relay servers, Microsoft IIS-SMTP, Microsoft Office 365, or Microsoft Exchange.
Knowledge of Azure File Shares and Azure File Sync technologies.
Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and RDS Licensing.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or higher.
