Description

Senior AEM Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Adobe AEM applications using Edge Delivery Services (EDS). You will own the full development lifecycle, from translating requirements into technical specifications to optimizing performance and ensuring accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions using AEM EDS concepts, including edge delivery architecture, blocks, sections, and page composition.
  • Develop core front-end components with HTML, CSS, and modular JavaScript, focusing on DOM manipulation and client-side rendering patterns.
  • Optimize web vitals and performance through lazy loading, image optimization, critical CSS, and edge caching strategies.
  • Configure and maintain ADO CI/CD pipelines, Universal Editor integration, and content sources within AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Conduct code reviews, debug complex issues, and mentor junior developers on best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Adobe AEM.
  • Expert-level JavaScript skills, including module-based architecture and performance optimization for Edge browsers.
  • Deep understanding of AEM EDS: Edge delivery architecture, blocks, sections, pipeline concepts, and project structure.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, with experience in accessibility and compliance standards.
  • Experience with ADO CI/CD pipelines and AEM as a Cloud Service basics.
  • Familiarity with CDN behaviors, caching headers, cache busting, and edge functions.
  • Knowledge of content modeling, authoring patterns, and headless CMS concepts.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, or RUM.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Target Web SDK for personalization and experimentation.
  • Understanding of technical SEO, structured data (schema.org), and tag management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
