Description

You build and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI, machine learning, and large-scale data analysis.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines to gather, integrate, cleanse, and structure data from multiple sources.
• Optimize data processing and storage systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement data quality checks, develop rules, and troubleshoot data anomalies.
• Design and implement complex data models and security best practices within pipelines and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior data engineers and review their dataset implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Intermediate experience with scripting languages and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building and maintaining moderately-complex data pipelines.
• Advanced Git usage and CI/CD integration skills.
• Solid experience in data analysis, machine learning, and AI development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms and tools.
• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree and Cloud certification.
• Experience with neural networks, natural language processing, or data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry or contributions to open-source AI projects.
