Description

Hands-on production experience with LLM systems, including: · Agentic workflows (multi-step reasoning, tool use, sub-agents, agent-to-agent communication) · Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and context engineering · Structured outputs, deterministic workflows, and auditable orchestration

Evaluation & Quality Engineering:  · Ground-truth dataset creation · LLM-as-judge and rule-based evaluation methods · Regression suites and statistical reasoning to separate signal from prompt noise

Production Software Engineering:  · Strong Python (packaging, structured-output validation, testing) · Ability to convert prototypes into reliable, production-grade services · Experience with critical software standards (specs, tests, traceability, code review)

Cloud & Platform Integration:  · Kubernetes · Azure and/or AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) · CI/CD pipelines · Observability (cost, latency, caching, evaluation dashboards)

AI Foundations:  · Deep understanding of transformers, neural networks, and applied statistics · Ability to go beyond prompt engineering into underlying math and model behavior

Preferred Skills

· Experience with managed LLM platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) · Experience training, fine-tuning, or distilling models · Full-stack familiarity (light UI work when needed; not a frontend role) · Pharma, biotech, or life sciences exposure (nice-to-have, not required) · Experience with enterprise AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, or regulated environments
