Role Overview
STAFFXPERT is looking for a Principal/Senior AI Solution Architect to provide enterprise-level architecture leadership across multiple AI/GenAI use cases. The architect will define scalable AI patterns, guide multiple delivery teams, ensure architecture consistency, and advise senior client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Define and govern enterprise AI/GenAI architecture across multiple use cases and teams.
Design scalable RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration, agentic AI, and multi-agent solutions.
Establish standards for model selection, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, re-ranking, and orchestration.
Review existing solutions and identify opportunities to consolidate duplicate components into reusable services.
Evaluate AI platform/foundry services for fit, scalability, technical debt, and reusability.
Define AI observability, evaluation, monitoring, accuracy, hallucination, latency, and cost frameworks.
Optimize AI solutions for token usage, model costs, retrieval performance, and scalability.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, SharePoint, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
Work with multiple delivery partners and provide technical guidance without direct authority.
Participate in PI Planning, architecture reviews, and executive-level discussions.
Present architecture recommendations to VP/Senior Director-level stakeholders.
Mentor and guide architects and technical teams on enterprise AI best practices.
Required Skills
10+ years of Solution Architecture experience with 3–5+ years focused on AI/ML/GenAI.
Strong expertise in Generative AI architecture and enterprise AI solutions.
Hands-on architectural knowledge of:
RAG / Retrieval-Augmented Generation
Chunking and embedding strategies
Hybrid search (semantic + keyword)
Re-ranking and retrieval optimization
LLM orchestration
Agentic AI and multi-agent frameworks
Prompt optimization and prompt brittleness
Experience building reusable AI architecture patterns across multiple use cases.
Strong understanding of data architecture, integration, and cloud/infrastructure.
Experience with enterprise platforms such as Databricks, SharePoint, ERP systems, and related integrations.
Knowledge of AI evaluation, observability, monitoring, and governance.
Experience with document-heavy AI use cases and non-sequential document context extraction.
Leadership / Advisory Skills
Strong strategic advisory and architecture governance experience.
Experience coordinating multiple delivery partners in large enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
Ability to influence without authority and drive architecture standards across teams.
Strong coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
Comfortable working in complex, multi-team environments and translating ambiguous requirements into actionable architecture plans.
