Description

You will build and ship AI agents and automation harnesses as core deliverables, owning the full lifecycle from rough idea to deployed software.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents using tool use, function calling, and agentic design patterns with Claude, Cursor, and Codex.
• Evaluate and correct non-deterministic model output, ensuring reliability before deployment.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and analytical surfaces on Databricks and AWS for non-engineers.
• Architect solutions, deciding when to use LLM-based approaches versus deterministic code.
• Collaborate with product managers to propose AI-driven solutions and manage scope.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Frontend: React, TypeScript.
• Backend: Python or Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Data Engineering: Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake.
• Cloud: AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift).
• AI Tooling: LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), prompting, agent patterns.
• Visualization: Streamlit, Tableau.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Knowledge of Evidence or similar BI tools.
