Description

Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions on the SoundHound Amelia platform and AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tune LLM prompts, agent instructions, and guardrails to ensure high-quality conversational AI interactions.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, MCP servers, and third-party system integrations for seamless system operation.
• Configure and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure AI solutions in production environments.
• Design and implement agentic or LLM-orchestrated systems, including tool/function calling and multi-agent patterns.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in software, cloud, or AI engineering with a proven track record of building production systems.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CDK.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git discipline.
• Deep understanding of REST API design and system integration best practices.
• Familiarity with MCP or comparable orchestration protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with evaluation frameworks for LLM systems.
