Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and application teams to understand workflows, pain points, systems, data, and operational constraints
• Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts for AI-enabled workflows, assistants, agents, and automations
• Translate prototype learnings into solution recommendations, technical patterns, and governance inputs for the AI CoE
• Connect systems, data, APIs, and services using Python and service-based architectures
• Integrate with enterprise systems following security, privacy, and architecture standards
• Build LLM-based applications with orchestration for multi-step workflows, tool usage, and agentic patterns
• Implement logging, testing, monitoring, and observability for prototypes and workflows
• Support practical AI governance, risk, and compliance considerations
• Partner with security, privacy, legal, data, and architecture stakeholders for responsible AI development

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with APIs, system integration, and service-based architectures
• Solid SQL and data knowledge in enterprise environments
• Experience building AI-enabled applications, agents, assistants, or automations using LLM tools and platforms
• Understanding of orchestration approaches for multi-step agentic workflows
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and secure enterprise integration patterns
• Experience with logging, testing, and basic observability
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MCP servers (e.g. FastMCP) or orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph
• Experience with evaluation and observability platforms: LangSmith, Weights & Biases, or OpenTelemetry-based tracing
• Familiarity with retrieval patterns and working with structured and unstructured data
• Background in forward-deployed engineering, applied AI, innovation lab, or consulting engineering environments
• Familiarity with enterprise AI governance including privacy, HITL design, and responsible use
