Description

You will design, test, and deploy automated data solutions and NLP techniques to solve complex analytic problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable ML and Generative AI approaches, including Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Train and optimize NLP/LLM models and build Python-based pipelines.
• Evaluate analytic problems and provide recommendations on methods and data requirements.
• Collaborate with data collectors and analysts to close gaps in complex monitoring problems.
• Stay current on emerging methods in NLP, ML, and Generative AI.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Data Science.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Science.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML/LLM engineering and Generative AI.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and NLP.
• Experience working within the clinical domain.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with pandas and scikit-learn.
• Experience with parallel processing or GPU programming using CUDA.
• Knowledge of Mathematica and markup languages like LaTeX or HTML.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with federal or state government IT projects.
• Background working in an analytical research environment.
• Experience applying NLP for anomaly detection.
