Description

You will manage and troubleshoot AIX and SLES environments on POWER architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer AIX 7.1/7.3 and SLES 12/15 systems on POWER hardware.
• Manage PowerHA System Mirror clusters for mission-critical applications.
• Execute PowerVM virtualization tasks, including VIOS and LPAR provisioning and optimization.
• Lead OS upgrades, hardware replatforming from POWER8 to POWER10, and storage migrations.
• Automate system tasks using POSIX shell scripting and Ansible AWX.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AIX 7.x and SLES on POWER architecture.
• Proficiency in PowerHA System Mirror clustering.
• Advanced PowerVM virtualization management.
• Strong POSIX shell scripting for automation.
• Experience performing storage and LPAR migrations.
• Knowledge of SEA-to-VNIC conversions.
• Experience with Splunk for system monitoring.
• Experience with Ansible AWX.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow and Centrify Suite.
• Background working in a Pharma/GxP environment.
