Description

You will manage and optimize AIX and Linux environments on POWER architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot AIX 7.1/7.3 and SLES 12/15 on POWER architecture.
• Manage PowerHA System Mirror clusters and perform PowerVM virtualization including VIOS and LPAR provisioning.
• Lead OS upgrades, storage migrations, and SEA-to-VNIC conversions.
• Support POWER8 to POWER10 replatforming and Oracle/AIX to SAP HANA/SLES migrations.
• Automate tasks using POSIX shell scripting and Ansible AWX.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Expertise in AIX 7.x and SLES on POWER.
• Proficiency with PowerHA System Mirror clustering.
• Advanced PowerVM virtualization management.
• Strong POSIX shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with storage and LPAR migrations.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP integration.
• Experience with Splunk and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Ability to document systems architecture and DR procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible AWX and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Centrify Suite, and Splunk.
• Experience working in Pharma/GxP regulated environments.
