Description

Bridge business requirements and technical implementation within a mainframe-based data environment. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate healthcare business requirements regarding financial transactions, eligibility, and provider networks into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create data mapping documents to validate elements from multiple source systems for warehouse integration.
• Review technical design documents to ensure alignment with functional specifications and data warehouse best practices.
• Perform data profiling, impact analysis, and root cause analysis to resolve production issues and improve data quality.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies and expected results for system data flows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data management.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and DB2.
• Experience working with mainframe systems.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering and technical documentation.
• Understanding of healthcare data and financial systems.
• Experience participating in the full SDLC.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers and data architects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Business Administration with IT experience.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
