Description

You will apply data science methodologies to identify risks and develop remediation strategies within the internal audit function.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks and develop remediation strategies through data-driven analysis.
• Automate data transformation processes to improve audit efficiency.
• Extract and manipulate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Provide analytical support by preparing data, interpreting results, and making strategic recommendations.
• Communicate technical and analytical findings clearly to stakeholders and product teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL or SAS queries in a business environment (or 5+ years if no degree is held).
• Proficiency in Python for coding and algorithm development.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse technical architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• Knowledge of segmentation techniques such as decision trees or k-means clustering.
• Experience with model development techniques including logistic regression, random forest, or gradient boosting.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or an accounting background with relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Internal Audit or knowledge of core audit functions and risk/controls.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
