Description

Execute business valuations for financial reporting, tax, and management planning. You will own engagements covering intangible assets, M&A, and regulatory compliance under IAS 36, IFRS 3, IFRS 16, and IAS 13.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research and build detailed financial models from scratch for restructuring, reorganization, and corporate strategy.
• Perform valuations using DCF, Income Approach, market comparables, and Purchase Price Allocations (PPA).
• Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global offices to support diverse engagement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards during valuation engagements.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of direct experience in valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/VBA, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with at least one financial engineering or statistical software package (Python, R, or Matlab).
• Background in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Venture Capital.
• Exposure to databases like Capital IQ or Bloomberg.
• Post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA), or Business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Progress towards or achievement of CFA, ASA, or CPA certifications.
