Description

You own the end-to-end catastrophe risk analytics workflow, from data preparation to model execution and client reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and scrub large datasets using SQL and Excel to ensure high-quality inputs for catastrophe risk assessments.
• Execute catastrophe models using RMS RiskLink, AIR Touchstone, and CoreLogic RQE to estimate potential losses from natural disasters.
• Analyze risk exposures by geocoding data and applying specific modeling assumptions and parameters.
• Generate detailed reports, maps, and visualizations using iFM, WorkFlowManager, SpatialKey, and ArcGIS to present risk insights.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate how input changes impact model outputs and support senior team members on complex projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in catastrophe modeling or related quantitative risk fields.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and VBA for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience with RMS RiskLink, AIR Touchstone, and CoreLogic RQE.
• Strong background in Risk Analytics and Data Analysis.
• Experience with ArcGIS for spatial data visualization and mapping.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with iFM, WorkFlowManager, and SpatialKey mapping tools.
• Understanding of insurance and reinsurance terms, treaty coding, and financial modeling.
• Experience with geocoding techniques and natural catastrophe peril analysis.
