Description

Lead the design and maintenance of automation frameworks for Android applications, ensuring robust test coverage across functional, regression, smoke, and performance scenarios.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python and PyTest for Android apps.
• Design test plans and execute strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to streamline release cycles.
• Manage defects, collaborate with development teams, and support UAT to ensure business readiness.
• Set up and manage mobile test environments, including physical devices and emulators.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on Android app automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with PyTest framework for structuring and running tests.
• Expertise in Android App Automation using Appium (2.x or flexible versions).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Strong understanding of test lifecycle management, defect tracking, and UAT processes.
• Ability to configure and manage mobile test environments effectively.
