Own the design, development, and maintenance of native Android applications, ensuring scalable architecture and high performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement native Android apps using Kotlin and Java, applying MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Repository patterns.
• Integrate REST APIs with Retrofit/OkHttp, handling token management, retry logic, and error scenarios.
• Build responsive UIs with Jetpack Compose or XML, ensuring accessibility and multilingual support.
• Optimize app performance by resolving ANRs, crashes, and memory leaks using Crashlytics and Sentry.
• Manage the full release lifecycle, including Play Store publishing, signing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java on Android.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture patterns: MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular design.
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, ViewModel, and WorkManager for background tasks.
• Proficiency in local storage solutions: Room, SQLite, DataStore, and offline caching.
• Experience with IoT SDK integration, Bluetooth/BLE, or smart-home device control is preferred.
• Ability to write unit and UI tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
• Understanding of Play Store release processes, build variants, and ProGuard/R8.
• Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging, deep links, and app analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Knowledge of payment gateway integration and secure transaction handling.
