Description

Design and execute user-facing features for a hospitality industry Android application.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design features using mobile OS frameworks for multi-threading, data persistence, and on-device user experience.
• Scale distributed applications by applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns and making architectural trade-offs.
• Write unit-tested, code-reviewed software for continuous integration.
• Provide technical leadership to plan and execute large-scale, cross-functional programs.
• Identify and implement improvements to engineering productivity within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong proficiency in Android development.
• Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns.
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iOS development.
• Knowledge of UI and animation frameworks, touch user interfaces, and MVP/MVVM application design.
• Experience building scalable, multi-tier applications and web services.
