Description

Lead the development and lifecycle management of complex Android applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications using Kotlin and Java within the Android SDK.
• Integrate applications with back-end services using RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Manage the full mobile development life cycle from requirement definition to deployment.
• Implement CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Apply UI/UX design principles and Google Android design principles to mobile interfaces.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience with Kotlin and Java.
• 12+ years of experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Extensive experience with Android Jetpack components.
• Proven track record working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools for automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs for large, complex IT solutions.
• Knowledge of general mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
