Description

You will build and support mobile features for the Android platform, contributing directly to the core mobile application codebase.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive features using Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Lead technical direction and feature roadmaps for large-scale systems.
• Mentor software engineers through coaching, training, and code reviews to ensure high quality.
• Drive detailed feature requirements through collaboration with product managers and customers.
• Improve the mobile codebase by addressing foundational issues and assisting with re-architecture.

Required Skills

• 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• Extensive knowledge of Android technologies including Java, Kotlin, Jetpack, and Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and advanced source control (branching, versioning, pull requests).
• Deep understanding of Mobile Architecture patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
• Experience debugging large, complex native application codebases.
• Proven track record working on complex systems with a large customer base.
• Strong focus on unit testing and code coverage using tools like JUnit, Jacoco, and Sonar.
• Ability to design features with testability as a prerequisite.
