Lead native Android development for millions of users, prioritizing performance, stability, and clean architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with platform squads to define mobile engineering standards, best practices, and tooling.
• Mentor and coach other Android developers within a collaborative, team-based organization.
• Advocate for mobile-first strategies and user experiences that solve customer needs.
• Align architecture, user experience, and security with established engineering chapters.
• Engage in active code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Clean Architecture using MVP or MVVM patterns.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming.
• Experience with Android Jetpack and open-source libraries such as Retrofit.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and trunk-based development.
• Experience implementing Android Accessibility features.
• Knowledge of feature toggles and modern development principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building multi-module Android applications.
• Hands-on experience with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
