Description

You will own the Android codebase, delivering features and maintaining technical direction for a large-scale mobile application.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive features using Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Lead technical direction and define roadmaps for complex mobile systems.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, coaching, and training to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers to drive detailed feature requirements from concept to release.
• Refactor foundational code and address technical debt to improve system stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Android technologies: Java, Kotlin, Jetpack, and Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and advanced source control workflows (branching, versioning, pull requests).
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, specifically MVP and MVVM.
• Experience debugging and maintaining large, complex native application codebases.
• Proven track record of shipping complex systems to a large customer base.
• Strong focus on unit testing and code coverage using JUnit, Jacoco, and Sonar.
• Ability to design features with testability as a core prerequisite.
