Description

Lead the design and development of advanced Android applications, translating UI/UX into maintainable code while ensuring seamless data synchronization and offline support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX designs and user workflows into robust Android applications.
• Ensure seamless data synchronization between mobile apps and remote servers, supporting offline environments.
• Integrate mobile functionality with real-time device data by collaborating with backend and data science teams.
• Maintain and enforce best practices in code quality, architecture, and testing, including resolving ANR and crash issues.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to application architecture decisions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin with solid understanding of the Android SDK.
• In-depth knowledge of modern design patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean architecture).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and tools like Retrofit or OkHttp.
• Strong understanding of threading, memory management, and asynchronous programming.
• Proficient with Android development tools (Android Studio, Lint, Logcat) and debugging utilities.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Familiarity with unit and UI testing frameworks like Espresso and JUnit.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Android libraries such as Jetpack, Room, and Work Manager.
