Description

Build and distribute Android applications for mobile devices and digital out-of-home installations.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Collaborate with designers to establish asset pipelines, including nine-patch image workflows.
• Partner with product managers to provide technical recommendations for business requirements.
• Manage application publishing via enterprise channels and public app stores.
• Lead performance tuning strategies for consumer applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of industry experience in mobile application architecture, software development, and systems design.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of computer science and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency with dynamic data formats including JSON and XML.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP protocols.
• Experience with native user interface development, custom views, and animations.
• Knowledge of client application data persistence and mobile application security.
• Experience with unit testing and automated UI testing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services or mobile backend-as-a-service.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with ORM-based data storage and content-management systems.
