You will own the development and optimization of native Android applications, translating business requirements into stable, high-performance technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize native Android applications using the Android SDK.
• Translate business requirements into functional technical specifications.
• Design applications around natural user interfaces and touch-based interactions.
• Implement offline storage, threading, and performance tuning to ensure app stability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to connect applications to backend services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Android development.
• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience handling diverse screen sizes and device configurations.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles and Google's interface guidelines.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and cloud message APIs for push notifications.
• Experience working with device sensors including gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Familiarity with the open-source Android ecosystem and common libraries.
• Ability to manage offline data storage and complex threading models.
