Senior Android Developer based in Newark, NJ. You will own the full lifecycle of Android applications built with Java, working independently within an agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using core libraries and UI design techniques.
• Integrate REST APIs, SQLite databases, payment gateways, and GPS map services.
• Manage the complete app publishing lifecycle from build to deployment.
• Plan and organize your own work, context-switching between tasks and teams independently.
• Adhere to technology best practices within agile development methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android core features and UI design.
• Proven experience integrating REST APIs.
• Experience implementing SQLite, payment gateways, and GPS Map integration.
• Familiarity with app publishing processes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
