Description

Design, build, and ship e-commerce applications for the Android platform. You will own the release pipeline, ensure application performance, and lead junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship new features in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across devices.
• Identify, debug, and fix bottlenecks and bugs using ADB and analysis tools.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards.
• Lead and mentor junior developers and delegate technical tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Expert knowledge of Java and the JDK.
• Expert knowledge of the Android SDK and UI paradigms (Material Design).
• Advanced Android UI skills, including Fragments and custom view components.
• Experience building multi-threaded and networked applications.
• Expert debugging and analysis skills using ADB.
• Experience with application submission and provisioning processes.
• Proven track record of designing and developing a complete Android app from start to finish.
• Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android Studio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenGL, NDK, or high-performance graphics code.
• Experience with protocol buffers.
