Description

You will lead the modernization and technical improvement of a large-scale banking application.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to complex problems using established frameworks and design patterns.
• Write and test code while ensuring all non-functional requirements are met.
• Conduct peer code reviews to enforce coding standards and evaluate maintainability.
• Collaborate within an agile team to collect requirements and suggest optimal technical approaches.
• Mentor junior developers in software engineering and Android best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing native Android applications.
• 3+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Android app architecture.
• Experience interacting with RESTful services using Android libraries.
• Proficiency in automated testing using JUnit, Robolectric, and Espresso.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both architects and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin and emerging Android SDK components.
• Deep understanding of MVVM design patterns.
• Familiarity with security protocols including OAuth, OpenID, and Android Keystore.
