Description

You will design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java, ensuring high performance and scalability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, and Material Design principles.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON/XML parsing.
• Implement modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation).
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for automated builds and deployments.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency through profiling and debugging.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Strong understanding of Android, Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
• Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Firebase services and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of mobile security practices including OAuth2, JWT, and SSL pinning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to coding standards.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and code reviews.
