Description

You will own the full lifecycle of mobile engineering projects, from discovery through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects and support technical business solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, including memory leaks and crashes.
• Participate in peer code reviews and team development.
• Analyze and resolve complex memory issues using profiling tools.
• Implement scalable solutions for e-commerce or high-traffic mobile applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience, with deep expertise in Android and Java.
• Building scalable e-commerce applications or complex mobile software.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, HTTP protocol, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Google Play APIs, including Maps and Location services.
• Distributed version control using Git/GitHub.
• Software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Memory analysis using tools such as DDMS or MAT.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with unit and integration testing in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Background in embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing constraints.
• SQL proficiency for mobile data persistence.
