Description

Lead Android development from technical design through deployment. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery for complex features, covering design, build, test, and release management.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement UI that aligns with Android guidelines and supports rich user interactions.
• Develop reusable, high-quality code within large, shared codebases.
• Manage the full application lifecycle including concept, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin for all new feature development.
• Deep understanding of the Android framework and Jetpack components (Navigation, Transitions).
• Strong implementation skills using MVVM architecture.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with shared REST API libraries.
• Expertise in RxJava, Dagger, and Retrofit.
• Experience with offline storage, background processing, threading, and performance optimization.
• Ability to write unit tests and mock API components for end-to-end coverage.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java alongside Kotlin.
